HOUSECOALS
GRADE A DOUBLES
Scottish doubles 2-3 inches in size, burns slower than and more ash than grade A nuts, but is clean and can make a good base for burning wood.
GRADE A TREBLES
A European deep-mined coal, more like an old-fashioned, good burning coal.
GROUP SPECIAL DOUBLE
The best coal available on the market 2-3 inches in size burns very hot and virtually to nothing about 1% ash. Once you have tried this nothing else will do.
GROUP SPECIAL TREBLE
The same coal as the doubles but in a larger size 3-6 inches in size, still as hot and the same ash level but burns longer on the fire.
All fuels can be mixed at the customers request to suit your needs, some customers preferring the heat of the Group Special but mixed with the Grade A to make it longer lasting. All fuels are delivered in open sacks to your address at no extra charge, but can be left in clean sealed pre packed bags if you do not have storage for a small charge. SMOKELESS FUELS
Due to the regulation changes this year, all the ovoids that we stock are HEATS and DEFRA aprroved. Most of them can be burned on open fires and others suit certain appliances.If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
HEAT PLUS - MSF016Z
Our most popular ovoid giving good heat which can be used on stoves and open fires.
MULTI HEAT - MSF0110
Our cheapest ovoid, competitively priced, but still giving good performance.
BURNWELL PLUS - MSF0195
Another mid-range ovoid. A larger egg that gives good heat output and can be used on open fires.
ANTHRACITE NUTS
This approved natural smokeless product is 2-3 inches in size. This product is suitable for stoves and cookers, Washed before it arrives at our yard it is very clean and performs well.
ANTHRACITE BEANS
Top quality beans very clean and all uniform size the best product available for gravity feed boilers.
NEW HEAT - MSF0155
Can be used on open fires. A great seller for us, easy to light and will burn all night with great heat output.
FIREGOLD - MSF0033
A top quality cooker fuel that can be burned on stoves. These are the best fuels on the market.
HOMEFIRE OVALS - MSF0097
A premium large ovoid for open fires and stoves which burns with an attractive flame and will burn all night.
PHURNACITE - MSF0106
The ‘Rolls Royce’ of ovoids. Premium fuel for AGAs and cookers which can’t be beaten!

You can take your choice of fuel away there and then or arrange where and when you would like it delivered The fuel is delivered to your house in open sacks for no extra charge or can be left in clean sealed pre pack bags at a small extra charge. A bulk discount is offered on orders over 10 bags and we will always try our best to beat other prices for like for like products.
